Over the last decade Impresub has developed and applied innovative concepts into the design and fabrication of Post Trenching Machines (PTM). Constructed in Italy by I.D.M.C. S.r.l. to exacting offshore and subsea standards the machines are able to operate on laid subsea pipelines, communications and power cables and control umbilical with maximum safety and excellent performance.
The technology adopted allows Impresub to operate wide range of pipeline diameters, in shallow and deep water in different soil conditions and different specific trench depth.
Based on extensive offshore experience Impresub provides a comprehensive range of turn-key services tailored to support cable and pipelines installations.
In the last ten years Impresub has successfully carried out, Post-Trenching activities on more than 700 km of submarine pipelines in the Mediterranean Sea, offshore Egypt, and elsewhere.
